an epic lobby experience
The entry to the museum features a magical multi-media experience. You are surrounded on all sides by an enormous facetted structure, playfully modeled after the mountainous landscape of Idaho. Projection-mapped to the geometry of the feature wall, an animation showcases the wondrous variety of natural landscapes the state has to offer. Below the wall runs a river of touchscreen monitors that offers interactive content for curious visitors. The entire room (including a multi-channel audio system) is synced to span the four seasons in a ten minute loop.
